Hi, I'm Areeb.
I build AI that holds up after the demo.
Applied AI engineer in Abu Dhabi. Agents, RAG, MCP servers, data pipelines, and the full-stack apps around them.
See projects Hire me / get in touch
Open to applied AI roles and project work.
I've built for healthcare, legal, education, energy, and startups. The industry changes; the job doesn't. Take a messy problem, find the data, build the system end to end, and get it running.
I started out as a reliability engineer. From 2023 to 2025 I did RCM, FMEA, and risk assessments for oil and gas operators, which is mostly the study of how things fail. That habit stuck: I build things that keep working in production.
I've spent years in energy and industrial operations, so I'm especially useful there: I know how plants and equipment actually run.
I run Cloudmynt, a licensed AI consultancy in the UAE. Some of what I build is for my community, like Āyah Finder, which finds a Quran verse when you recite it. Mechanical engineer by degree.
Right now
- Building agents and data systems as an AI & data engineer. ARIA is one of them.
- Running Cloudmynt, my AI consultancy in the UAE, where I take on project work.
- Studying. Georgia Tech's OMSA, a master's in analytics. In progress.
- Writing short notes on what I'm building. The first one is up.
What I can do for you
The short version: I take an AI idea from the data coming in to the screen someone uses, and get it running.
AI agents & MCP
Agents that use real tools, follow real workflows, and know when to ask a person.
Claude · OpenAI · MCP servers · tool use
RAG & LLM apps
Answers from your own documents, with sources you can check.
Pinecone · vector search · evaluation · fine‑tuning
Data engineering
Streaming and batch pipelines that feed the models and the dashboards.
Kafka · Flink · Airflow · ClickHouse · Databricks · PySpark
Backend & full-stack
So the work ends up as a real product, not a notebook.
Python · FastAPI · React · Next.js · Postgres · Redis
Cloud & DevOps
Whichever cloud fits the job; I'm not loyal to a logo.
Azure · GCP · AWS · Cloudflare · Docker · Terraform
Computer vision
Object detection, plus the tooling to label the data it learns from.
YOLO · annotation tooling
Reliability analytics
My old field, turned into tools engineers will actually use.
RCM · FMEA · Weibull / life‑data analysis · risk assessment
Things I believe
- Security goes first, not last. Your data deserves care.
- Design the whole thing. From the data coming in to the screen someone uses.
- Ship it. If it isn't running, it isn't done.
- A good agent knows when to ask a person.
- Show your sources. No black boxes.
Things I've built
Grouped by kind. The featured ones are the best place to start.
Agents & MCP
-
ARIA featured An agent that asks before it acts.
It uses MCP tools, and when it's missing context it reaches out to real people to get it, before doing anything.
-
InstantMCP featured Describe a server. Get a server.
Write what you want an MCP server to do, and it gets created and deployed on Modal. Built for the Anthropic MCP hackathon.
-
repoMCP Let an AI work on your repo without touching main.
An MCP server that lets AI assistants explore, edit, and open pull requests on GitHub repositories through a safe feature-branch workflow.
LLM infrastructure
-
BenchRoute Stop paying top-model prices for easy tasks.
Picks the cheapest LLM that current benchmarks say can handle your task.
RAG & search
-
Āyah Finder Recite a verse, get the ayah back.
Built for my community. Deepgram does the transcription, and hybrid retrieval on Cloudflare Vectorize finds the match.
-
Maintenance Duration Estimator "How long will this job take?", with receipts.
RAG over past work orders. It estimates how long a maintenance job will take and cites similar past jobs as evidence.
Industrial analytics
-
Weibull Analysis featured When should this equipment be replaced?
Weibull life-data analysis for energy assets, right in the browser. My old job, as a tool.
Tools
-
Local Time Tracker for macOS A time tracker that keeps your time to itself.
Everything stays in a local SQLite database. AI suggests which project you were working on.

Hackathons
I go whenever I can. Two of them:
Anthropic MCP hackathon. Built InstantMCP, which creates and deploys MCP servers from a prompt.
LEAP 2024, Riyadh. Built Marham Route, a travel planner for medical trips.

From maintenance plans to AI agents
Why a reliability engineer's habits are a good starting point for building AI agents for industrial operations.
Work with me
Hiring for applied AI, or have a project that needs agents, RAG, or data done properly? I'd like to hear about it.
I'm open to full-time applied AI roles and to freelance or consulting work through Cloudmynt. Energy and industrial teams especially welcome.
Email is info@cloudmynt.io. I'm also on LinkedIn and GitHub.
